My job is to keep learning fun, while letting students know that I always expect their personal best.  To do this, I can draw from the know-how of having taught for twelve years with experience primarily in fourth grade, but also in first, third, and preschool.  My Bachelors and Masters Degrees are in elementary education with an emphasis in science and are from NAU. 

      As a parent, I know what you are going through.  I've been there!  My son, Scott, is 27 years old, was just married in March, and is a City Planner for the City of Long Beach.  My daughter, Laurel, is 24 and a PICU nurse at St. Joseph's hospital.  She's getting married this November.  Let me give you some personal advice straight from the heart:  start saving for your children's college educations NOW!  Seriously, my advice would be to cherish every hug, kiss, and memorable moment, because your children will be grown and gone in the twinkling of an eye.
